My son is getting close to 15 months old. I've cut him back on the boob so he's only getting 2 feeding during the day. Nap time and bed time.
But I don't know how to get him to sleep without the boob and he nurses randomly throughout the night. Anyone else going through this and what they did to get their babies off the boob completely.
He co-sleeps at the moment and has since he was born. I've moved a Mobile crib into our room to get him started before moving him to his own room (I'm not ready for him to leave my room yet lol) he sleeps in the crib from time to time but mainly in our bed.

I think stopping night feeding when collecting is really hard. When I stopped feeding through the night, my little one was in her room. If she cried before 4am dad went in (so she knew boob was not an option) forat few times it took ages to settle but they quickly get it. After 4am I would offer boob. Once that was fine, I cur it out conpletely and again dad went in instead of me. It is much easier if someone else settles them but if you cosleepthis makes it more difficult.
To break the boob to sleep association just decode on a method that you (and anyone else who parents or supports woth baby agree). This could be bum tapping, cuddles, stroking.... it will be hard first few days but again they will get it quickly.
Offer milk if you want but in a cup. Mine still likes milk before bed and when she wakes, again part of comfort.
