I know babies are notorious for not sleeping etc but my 11 day old hasn’t slept for longer than an hour in over two days now. I’m losing my mind, last night the only way she would sleep was if she was on me and even then she wasn’t best pleased about it. We’ve checked everything, nappy/fed/winded/swaddled/white noise/rocking/shh-ing, we’ve tried it all. She doesn’t cry loads or anything, so we know she’s not in pain, she’s just a bit grizzly (because she’s shattered).
For the first 10 days of her life all she did was sleep, as newborns should, but it’s as if she’s noticed the world around her and now no longer wants to sleep 🫣 what can we do? We’re so tired 😵💫

I remember a midwife telling me last time around that day 10 is notoriously difficult as it’s the start of a huge growth spurt! Hopefully this is what’s happened and is short lived for you 🤞🏻 my little girl was exactly like this, just refused to switch off!
I suspect she’s overtired and needs a massive big sleep to reset. Have you tried her in a sling? Going for a walk in the sling with my little girl was a go-to when she was overtired. Or in the pram over cobbled/bumpy streets. I know probs the last thing you want to do when you’re so tired but it might help!
thank you so much, this is very reassuring 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
