Early Scan

I had an early scan yesterday thinking I was nearly 8 weeks, they told me I was only 5 and that I have a cyst on one of my ovaries
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Not the cyst but I’ve literally just got back from a scan, thought I was 7+5 and I’m only 6! Feeling a bit disheartened to be honest. Hope you’re ok? x

I was told at my first scan that I had a cyst on one of my ovaries. They said they would check again at my 20 week scan and if it grew then they would let me know of the next steps. It wasn’t mentioned so I’m presuming it went on its own but I honestly forgot to ask.

Me too! I feel like it’s just another 2 week of worry added, I’ve got to go back for another one in 3 weeks so hopefully they see what they’re supposed to see. Hope all goes ok with you

Dont worry about the dates, I was dated really behind what I thought and by the time I got to my 12 week scan I was dated 2 days behind what I thought! Baby is just so small at the moment, but will catch up, that’s why nhs only routinely scan from 12 weeks xx

I got told I have a cyst on my left ovary but the lady said it could be just a follicle and it all could go away after my hormones settle

Hey, I went for a very early scan (5 weeks + 3) because I was having a bit of pain. They told me I ovulated on my right side and it had caused a cyst, they said it happens a lot and can be very painful. They also said they would scan at 7 weeks to check everything again and I will be able to hear the babies heart beat for reassurance xx

@Bethany your lucky I'm 5 weeks 1 day with pain on my right side and have cysts on my right ovaries with very light bleeding and they won't give me a early scan

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
