Ok so I have created a bad situation for myself. Not on purpose but it did happen and can’t really change much now so just living it day by day so please no judgement. I was single last year living my best life and honestly sleeping with whoever I felt like but only one guy unprotected. Was never serious or even close to being serious with any of them. I was not on birth control but I know my cycle and pretty well so I can usually avoid pregnancy because I know when I’m ovulating or at least I thought I did. I had a slip up with one guy where the condom came off and he didn’t tell me and that was around the time I believed I was ovulating as usual. I also did sleep with the unprotected guy about a week later but didn’t think I was ovulating then. Next month I ended up pregnant of course and I was 99% sure it was the guy who I had the slip up with . He also knew I was sleeping with other people and when I told him I thought it was him he was also unsure but said he would take my word and wanted me to have the baby. We decided to try dating more and see if we would work out for the baby. Fast forward baby is now 6 months and I’m almost positive this is not his baby. We have started a life together.. he has done everything for this baby and my older child before him. We live together and his family loves the baby . But everything in me is telling me this baby is for the guy I was sleeping with unprotected because somehow my math was not mathing . What in the fu*k do I do??? I’m so freaking embarrassed at myself for being in this situation but it’s eating me up. I love this man now and don’t want to hurt him by telling him it’s not his but I feel like he also knows in the back of his head because he is Hispanic and the baby looks completely black and nothing like him. Do I reach out to the guy who I think is her dad ? I guess just looking for some words of encouragement or advice

Girl you know how many of our grandmothers been through this. You need keep quiet and keep living a good life. If you want to know for knowing sake, you can take a hair sample or get the other guy tested but the question is, who is better for your children in the long run. It’s not about you or your guilty conscience. Think of the kids now
omgggg I know you are right because that’s what the back of my mind is telling me to do because I love our family together.. he is a good man and works hard to take care of us and loves me to pieces and the other guy is a ass hole really and I would probably never have the life I have now with him and who knows? He probably would deny the baby and try to run. But why is it eating me up so bad ? I feel like it shouldn’t because I low key think my man knows but he doesn’t care because he loves us so much. I think what I’m really worried about is us having another baby because he wants one and that baby coming out looking all Hispanic like him and then people like his family starting to question baby girl.

Listen if you’re blk like me, we make different color babies ! I have a light skinned son and a brown/dark daughter… granted two different dads but frankly are ppl paying your bills or helping you, no! So let them talk. If your man is happy, then so should they. Just show the man you’re with now how appreciative you are to have him and I’m sure whatever he feels will not stop him from continuing to love you and your kids. Honestly I wouldn’t think twice. Keep you and your family happy. You went through a ho3 phase… we all do. ATP it is what it is.

First off this is real life and nothing to be embarrassed about. The most important part is to be honest. But if you want to know first CVS and pharmacies sell DNA tests now. Start there maybe but the pain and uncertainty will be too much to bear soon, so it’s best to be honest
you are absolutely right! Thanks so much taking the time to give me your input. I don’t trust anyone enough to talk to them about this so I really appreciate it ❤️

Yw my sis! Keep in mind opening this can of worms will only help you in the end, not your man, not your children and not the potential father who may or may not want to be there for you. Just exercise wisdom on this. As a newly married woman, men can’t handle certain things. It’s just not in them. I remember talking to my husband about my sex partners and how he tried to get me to tell him how many men I was with. I redirected him so quick in the beginning lol 😂 we crack up about it now! Now I tell him I its a range bc there are a couple that I don’t even remember their names and he screams of laughter but you think if I was this honest in the beginning he would see me as the God fearing Christian girl that I am today heck no lol 😝 lol good luck sis ❤️
I understand this too but I feel like I was honest from the beginning when I told him I was sleeping with other people too and that I only believed it was his. Which in all honesty I’m still not 100% sure it isn’t his but I have a good feeling she’s not because of how baby looks and genetics. Part of me believes he knows too because he even makes jokes about it sometimes saying that the baby is fully black and not Hispanic like him. And also, I’m not even sure the suspected father would be open to receiving knowledge about an alleged baby as much as taking a DNA test. And if he was and I got the answer that he is the father then what would be the next steps ?

Doesn’t hurt to get a DNA test because if y’all have never had that conversation then you truly do not know how he feels whether he does or doesn’t care if that’s his child. That’s unfair to him and honestly something you can’t hold on to because he has the right to know whether that’s his child. If he decides to stick around after that’s great but keeping it in the dark is not fair and it’s not fair to the other potential father. He may want a relationship with the baby if it boils down to him being that father.
well we have had a conversation about being unsure so he definitely does know there is a chance this is not his baby but he just doesn’t know that I’m starting to think that’s she’s more so not his. So will the dna test not really hurt because I’m sure he will be broken to pieces if he sees on paper that she isn’t his and I’m not sure where that will leave us but I know it won’t be a good place . If he decides to split I will be out of a home and everything else that’s he does for us so it’s not that easy either but I understand about it being unfair to both parties. But I’m not sure the other would even care .. we haven’t spoke since that night we slept together.. he doesn’t know that I was pregnant or that I’ve had a baby .. we didn’t know each other that well
I have also offered him (my man) a dna test while pregnant and after baby was born which he has denied doing

My same exact situation right now , omg I had to check if I wrote this.

I would have that conversation about how you because later it could bring on resentment especially if his family starts to get in his ear or friends. Either way there is still a chance and even tho you haven’t talk to the other potential father it’s still something he should know because you don’t know him so you don’t know how he will feel. This could impact ur child later on in life. She will need a father figure whether current decides to leave she’s going to want to know who he father is

You don’t want her to have resentment towards you later on either
really ? I feel like I’m the only one who would get myself in some shi. Like this 🤦🏾♀️ can I dm u ?

I think you should leave well enough alone. If it ain’t broke 🤷♀️ don’t be embarrassed your human . ❤️❤️❤️

Yup it’s good.

Sorry you’re going through this..I think you should just do an at home test without his knowledge to give yourself time to digest the results. Don’t let this haunt you for the rest of your life. The good thing is you were honest upfront, so either way you’ve done nothing wrong.

He knows there’s a chance, he didn’t want the dna test, I would mama Mia that shit and never find out and enjoy the life you’re building

I 1000% agree with @Patrice...let sleeping dogs lie...if your man had doubts and wanted to know he would ask you for that DNA test, but you pro-actively offering it and re-opening that can of worms is unnecessary, especially since he knew y'all weren't exclusive back then and you offered the DNA test while you were pregnant. If he can care for you and your older kid who definitely is not his, why can't he love your daughter whether she's biologically his or not. He's just a good man with a big heart and bless him for that! Just be good to him and pour into your family. It's a blessing and a dad is not who conceived a child, but one who raised the child and put in the work. Seems like you are lucky to have a man who gets that & I wouldn't jeopardize all if that if I were you. If smth should ever change, and he would need confirmation one way or another, well, you can cross that bridge when you get to it. Don't self- sabotage and rather be good to him like he is to y'all. That's the best you can do.

baby, the DNA test is for the current boyfriend and the baby.
And at the end of the day, everything that you were trying to do is most likely to fail anyways, because it is in dishonesty and dishonesty is the root of so many other things . You can go back-and-forth and forth and back, but at the end of the day this dishonesty is going to affect your child. Because.
Forget it.
I currently have a close friend who has taken care of a child for six years and he just found out that that child is not his. Now the father is devastated. The child is devastated, but he also has another child by the same girl so these two sisters aren’t technically sisters anymore and they both used to have the same father now only one of them does.
At the end of the day, you just need to be a responsible adult and do it right all this back-and-forth bull jam , and at the end of the day you are messing with peoples because you weren’t honest to begin with and that’s OK. But you do need to correct this
