What bottles are you using? It might be that he’d take different ones better. My daughter gags on her mam dummies sometimes but will take a tommee tippee bottle

we used them for my first who was also breastfed and never had issues and using them again. They’re supposed to have a breast like teat to help them take it

There’s also enzymes in your breast milk that if you have a high level of them it can affect the taste so maybe try tasting it to rule that out?

You could try using Nuk as well, I used to work in NICU and we used Nuk teats as they mimic the breast and have a slower flow, also anti colic. I’m planning on using them for our little one when he moves from breast to breast milk in a bottle fingers crossed he takes it 🤞

My daughter is close to 4 weeks old. Gagged on the mam dummies. She took the tommee tippee slow flow bottle from 3 weeks.

We use the lansinoh bottles and little one hasn’t had an issue with them, but she also takes the mam dummies okay.
