Bleeding after cervical exam

Hey all! So I had my cervix checked today and I am 4cm dilated. It’s never hurt bad like it did today and her glove was pretty bloody after she was done. I’ve never spotted after a check either but I am spotting light pink and brown quite a bit. Is it possible she could have accidentally swept me? I’m guessing not but just curious. (39 weeks)

I’m not sure how you “accidentally” sweep someone’s membranes 👀 she most likely did, not expecting the blood to call her out like that, it should be okay though as long as it’s just spotting

I don’t know exactly where everything is up there and if it’s possible 😂 I just know my last provider was like “I’m not going to check any further because I don’t want to accidentally sweep you.”

Spotting and pain were very normal for my cervical check. I spotted for the next day or two. If it’s enough to fill a pad, I would talk to your doctor. Besides that, it should be somewhat normal

I think it’s just to do with how sensitive your cervix is and how rough the palpation was.
I bled tiny bit after my obgyn just went up in there whereas for other checks with kinder nurses and obgyns, I didn’t bleed at all haha

I got checked today too. I am 38 weeks now bc it’s past midnight but when I wiped after there was blood…now you got me scared she sweeper me tho I am being induced next Friday.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

i really want another baby

i am merely a few months pp but i want another baby, but i am scared of the age gap (2 under 2) and also with everything going on in the world i just think its not the best idea at the moment but i am having crazy baby fever and miss having a newborn🥹
