My husband and I decide to not have a baby shower for our second pregnancy but did want to share our baby registry. However, I’m concerned that I will come across gifty! I would love some advice and opinions on this!

It’s our first but we also aren’t doing a shower. I created a registry mainly so I could keep track of what we still needed and have only sent it if people asked, which I was surprised that people did, but it’s been nice to be able to have it to share. I think if people ask or for close family it isn’t weird, especially if you’re having a see the baby type thing at any point that you’ll invite them to

If you don’t want to come across as gifty I’d just share it with people that ask. Sharing it broadly doesn’t mean people have to buy anything but it could be interpreted as an expectation. I’m having my second and also don’t want a shower/sprinkle mainly because we only had one a year ago and I don’t want people to feel obligated to buy another gift, I am doing a registry to keep track of what I need and for the discount, I will share it if people ask for it.

I had a couple baby showers, but 26/42 things on my registry have been purchased. What's left are mostly things we don't need at the moment (including the baby gate we'd like), so I'm grateful for that, but the stroller and carseat combo are still on there, so I'm going to post my link to Facebook and say something like
"If you'd like to contribute and haven't yet had a chance to, here is our baby registry! Thank you to everyone who has helped us out thus far!"

What about doing a small baby sprinkle with your closest friends and relatives (parents, siblings)
