My little girl is just about to be 6 weeks. She wiggles a lot in her sleep. Like often to the point she ends up wiggling herself to the end of her bassinet and I usually find an arm out of her swaddle and sometimes her legs. I’ve made sure I’m swaddling right and making sure the swaddle is tight enough but she still manages to free a limb 75% of the time. I do think the swaddle helps her sleep but should I be trying a different kind of swaddle? Am I still somehow swaddling wrong? Should she not be so wiggly, is that a sign of something wrong? Aside from gas and normal baby things she’s a healthy baby according to her pediatrician.

At 6 weeks there is still a chance your baby might wake up from the startle reflex (it lasts 3-4 months on average). But you could try not swaddling one night or at nap time and see if she wakes up more without the swaddle. If she wakes up, then maybe try a different swaddle.
My girl moves around a lot in her sleep, especially after I stopped swaddling her. She just takes after her dad and moves a lot in her sleep. I forget when I stopped swaddling her but I think it was around when it's recommended.
