Girls, I done it! I had my first night away from my baby last night.. I went and stayed in London overnight as me and my friend went and saw Niall Horan at the o2. Iāll admit, I cried when I left him, I felt awfully! But leaving him made me realise that I havenāt done anything proper for myself since before he was born. I have literally lost who I was as a person and I got so emotional at different points yesterday because I started feeling a bit like my old self (24 week pregnant version) and it felt so good.
Made me realise that after this second baby, I really need to put myself first sometimes and do things for me. Iāve only got about 9 more nights away to catch up with the amount my husband has left us š

Aw Iām so happy for you!! ā¤ļø
Youāre so right! Itās so easy to lose yourself in motherhood but itās not healthy at all. We need time for ourselves and to prioritise us sometimes š¤

So proud of you!! Thatās absolutely amazing! š„°
Iām 3years (+9m of pregnancy) into motherhood and Iāve not had a night away. Went shopping the other day & spent over Ā£300 on clothes for the kids and nothing for myself. Made me realise I need to prioritise myself.
Thank you for reminding me that we matter too ā¤ļø

Iāve realised I need to put me first sometimes. Iāve had a kidney infection, cold and now a sinus infection š« I think my body is trying to tell me something

Aww well done to you. You deserve and definitely got to think of yourself too, you matter also. Health is so important and if youāre not in that state of mind, you definitely lose yourself. Once in a while, do treat yourself, even if itās a little bit. šš
