Early labour!? Contractions!?

I woke up about an hour ago with what I can only describe as a cramping shooting pain that filled my entire stomach, lasted maybe 5-10 seconds and then stopped, and has been reoccurring for the past hour on and off. I’ve got awful diarrhoea (but I did have a very spicy dinner which could be to blame) does anyone think this could be sign of early labour, or just a bad reaction to last nights dinner?! I’m only 35 weeks and I can’t lie, I’m pretty scared! 😟

I had this last night and everything has now completely stopped! Also had diarrhoea too due to all the cramping. It lasted for about 2-3 hours and I’ve had nothing all day now. Have you lost any of your mucus plug??

I went to the toilet once more after I posted this, and then it stopped! I’m going to put it down to what I’d had for dinner as it seemed after my bowels were completely empty, the pain ended!

I would say sounds like food, diarrhoea is common at this gestation i’m 35 weeks tomorrow and I’ve had it off and on so it’s just one of those, I get pretty regular braxton hicks too x

If they're only lasting 5-10 seconds, I'd say it's more likely to be digestion related than Labour. But call triage if you're worried

it was definitely just food related! I feel at this stage of pregnancy every single change in your body makes you think LABOUR 😂😂 I’ve never experienced anything quite like it before though, it was such an odd sensation and very contraction esc the way it came and went in such a regular pattern! No more spicy food for me 😂

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
