We are experiencing REALLY hard nighttime sleep starting around 8pm. Last night she was awake almost every hour, and refused to eat, and was flailing around like she was in pain but then when my husband held her, she immediately calmed down. Any advice?

Do you have a bedtime routine?
Yes-bathtime, reading, playing, then rocking and breastfeeding. She’s still in our room in the bedside bassinet, but I rock her in the nursery right next door

Hmm sounds like you have all the key parts down. My Lo only gets flaily if he has a lot of gas. Maybe try some gripe water to help lesson the pain?

My baby was the same way so I started to make him sleep on his tummy 3 weeks ago , since than he sleeps 8 hours without waking up.

Is she learning something new? My daughter is trying so hard to roll over (but isn’t really close) and her naps have been absolutely terrible! When they learn a ton it can disrupt sleep and there isn’t much we can do about it- but it will pass!
Thank you everyone! She can roll from back to tummy l-new skill- but not back again yet (and when she does sleep she rolls). Is it bad to put babies down on their tummy if they are just gonna go there anyway?
