Nub theory? Is it legit?

I had multiple places, people and nub theory pages say girl… I had a boy 🤣

No way! tbh I knew when I started it’s all really luck and guessing game but I couldn’t help myself and like £150 later I’m more confused than I ever was lol, did you end up finding out or waiting until birth? x

There’s loads of free ones on Facebook you don’t need to pay for.. also 11.3 is not accurate for nub sometimes as girls can rise to boys … 12.5 weeks is more likely accurate.

I did think the same, only thing with my 13 week one is my midwife said the thigh bone covers the nub so couldn’t tell but then I had two companies say boy and 1 say the nub was covered so I don’t know what to believe now! I wanted to no but didn’t in the same breath but I think I’m going to book a private scan to find out lol x

Ooo I would say girl for yours but it’s so confusing isn’t it because all depends on their angle and everything which makes 0 sense to me so I’m pretty clueless when it comes to this. I feel like I just can’t wait now until birth, I didn’t find out with my first but I feel like I want to no now on my second lol.

Yes of course here’s my two scans I’ve circled thigh and shin bone where the nurse says it covers the nub so don’t know if they are mistaking the thigh for the nub well seems like they are but they still could be right! Xx

yea your midwife is right both pics the nub isn’t visible. Even on the last scan it’s not visible for them to have said girl. If you want to find out book the private scan for gender. It’s such a special moment

I have a nub theory group on here - baby bear gender prediction.

I have studied the theory quite closely, yes it is correct and accurate A, if it is done in the time range and B, If people actually know how to do it properly.

Nub theory wasn’t studied until 12 weeks and onward because the nub doesn’t fully finish developing until 12+6 or 13+0 at latest so at 11 weeks it would essentially still be 50:50, there aren’t usually many indicators that a nub will develop or rise but there are other factors to take in like the bladder position.
Bladder position on a boy is low and forward , a girl high and far back.

Your 11.3 wouldn’t be an accurate drawing but your 13.3 will be a fully developed nub and will be highly accurate. I’m happy to take a look if you like, I offer FREE drawings as well.

The other issue is, a lot of these companies that you pay for are actually scams. This has been proven through messages from the owners saying they draw things where they aren’t and just do

It because at the end of the day it can be 50:50 so they then don’t have to send the money back if it’s incorrect.

Out of all theories the nub theory is the most accurate and the only one that isn’t just a fun theory because the nub is what develops into babies clitrios / labia or penis / scrotum where as other theories like ramzi and skull are more fun theories because there is no scientific proof behind them in being correct.

yours looks girly in both - depending on gestation it would be a girl or early girl with time for development.
Your babies bladder is high and far back as well.

I just saw you posted them here - unfortunately no scan shows nub, so all the people who have done your drawings (and I can guess which companies as it’s usually the same ones) have just drawn it for the sake of it.

hey Lauren thank you so your advice etc! I did pay for them 😫😂 curiosity got the better of me! Feel stupid now because there all different and like you said the 13.3 day one you can’t or so I was told that you can’t even see a nub because of the thigh bone.
Wasn’t going to find out what I’m having as I didn’t the first time but I think after all this I just would love to know so maybe time for me to book a private scan at 16 weeks 😂 xxx

don’t feel stupid! So many people do pay for the drawings, especially because you just wouldn’t expect someone to draw something that wasn’t there! It’s shameful on those people who do not you or the other people who want a drawing!

Ahhh enjoy your last pregnancy ❤️ I always wanted 3 but I have been so sick with HG I don’t know if I could do it a 3rd time I have a boy now so intrigued to know what number 2 will be ! Either way it will be lovely just feel like I need to no lol! Are you going to find out yeah? I didn’t last time so feel strange finding out but just feel like it’s in me now to want to no! lol x
