How long did it take you to go into labor at 80% effaced?

Did a cervical check this morning and she said I was less than 1cm dilated, however that I was 80% effaced and that my cervix was very soft so she thinks I’ll go into labor “soon.”
Just curious, How long did it take for y’all to go into labor after being 80% effaced? Google says a couple days lol

They told me i was 80% and closed up 2 weeks ago. I went Wednesday and now I’m 80% 1cm and still no baby. 🥲

I was having contractions at 1cm and 50% effaced but at that point my water had broke. I really don’t understand this stuff 🥲 it seems so inconsistent

I was 3cm and 80%. And actually went into labor the next day.

Update: lost my mucus plug this morning so hoping things are happening soon!

I hope the best for you! But I lost mine 2 days ago and had my bloody show as well and still nothing. 😁

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
