I am so lost and frustrated… I try my best not to worry about his eating habits but I can’t help but feel like there’s something being done wrong because I see other people’s kids eat multiple times a day. My toddler will only and I mean ONLY eat grits, eggs, chocolate waffle(specifically), yogurt, hashbrowns, beefaroni and macaroni and cheese sometimes fries but literally these are the only things he will eat. I blame myself for not pushing harder for him trying to other foods earlier. He’s maintaining 28 lbs which he has been for months but I’m worried more than before he will not eat anything else. I think he gets his picky eating from me which we always laughed about but today i offered him a mini burger multiple times and he literally almost threw it up when taking a bite. He’s like that with fruits and veggies too I just feel so lost 😭

Mine is the same way and she is been like this since she turned 2 and she is almost 3. I don’t think it has to do with trying different foods earlier because we did that and she was a great eater as a baby. I think it is just a phase now you just have to make sure he gets vitamins. We give her some gummies multivitamins that she loves and also she likes smoothies so I just put some greens on it with yorgut and fruits and she likes it too.

Same. Her Dr. said that’s normal at this age. Their taste buds are evolving to just make sure they are drinking milk and give them what they want. I also bought a juicer to make fresh juices with fruits and veggies since she won’t eat them and giver her a multivitamin gummy to keep up with her nutrition

at this point, you offer food and if they don’t eat, then they don’t eat and you try again a little later. I typically save the food that I give my daughter that she refuses and then offer it to her again the next time she gets hungry. If she still doesn’t eat it I just offer something else. if I notice she’s getting too picky and only eating a couple select foods I stop offering them and offer another group of foods. if she asks for the food specifically I just tell her that we’re out of it to try to get her to eat other things
