For those of you who's babies sleep well during the night ie no or 1 wake, how many hours is babies wake window before bedtime?
My baby still gets up multiple times a night for a feed which I don't mind so much as she goes straight back to sleep. But its the false starts that's exhausting 😫 sometimes it takes nearly 2 hours to settle baby. Some days she'll be fine and soon as she's fed she goes to sleep and once she's in the cot she's fine but other days as soon as I put her in the cot she wakes up or wakes up soon after and then wants cuddling back to sleep or more feeding.
She doesn't have a set nap time during the day as our days vary but generally bedtime is between 8.30 and 9.30.
Her last nap can sometimes be as late as 4pm and she can sleep an hour or more. I have tried to avoid the last nap altogether but then she sleeps early and treats that as another nap.
Would be grateful for any tips

Our last nap finishes at 4pm with bedtime between 8-8.30pm xx

Do you put her down awake? If you’re putting her down after feeding to sleep that maybe why.

4.5 hours
But also second Vanessa’s comment. False starts are often because they’re not settling themselves to sleep. Soon as they wake they need feeding / rocking etc by you to go back to sleep and the cycle continues hence the wake ups for feeds. My baby weaned herself off of dream feeds by around 6m xx

1-2 feeds now after sleep training, occasionally none. We had a terrible problem with waking on transfer and false starts. Sometimes it would be 2am before we got a decent stretch but that all changed at 5 months. I tried to follow wake window theory too first but it made no difference. In answer to your question her naps are now 1h20-2h in the morning around 3h after waking and 30-40 mins at some point in the afternoon. It can be as early as 2 or as late as 4.30. Our longest wake window tends to be in the middle of the day due to the short afternoon nap, Bedtime is between 6.15 & 7.15. Huckleberry suggests a much earlier bedtime than 8.30-9.30 for a baby of 8/9 months so overtiredbess could be an issue

My lo is the same sometimes if I let her sleep after 4pm she will not go to bed at 7:30/8 however skipping that nap means she wants to go to bed by 5:30/6 xx

But my lo sleep does fix its self over the week as I’m home all weeks so she sleeps like 2 hours sometimes mid day so that usually can keep her going. However when my partner is off work we are usually out all day so she’ll maybe have 1-2 half hour naps in the day whilst in the car so she goes to bed earlier
