Wind.

Baby has always suffered with wind ever since she was born. She is on anti reflux milk, she is held up for half an hour after every feed, I do exercises with her every night before bed, she has a be to every night. We have tried infacol, dentinox but every nearly single night she wakes up with wind crying in pain which is really annoying because as soon as it’s out she sleeps amazing and sleeps for 11-12 hours a night but it’s disturbing her every single night pretty much. I don’t know what else I can try. I’ve been told certain veg can make it worst which if she has had something like broccoli it is worst and lasts longer than if she hasn’t had any but it’s still nearly every night. Anything else I can do/ try?

Have you tried milk thickener, like carobel, or the colic milk, also infacol worked better for my girl when I added a couple drops to her bottle instead

Not sure if it will help you, but my little boy has been on anti reflux milk & I just took him to the dr as he was always uncomfy with his wind / would cry in the night like he had tummy ache. Our doctor prescribed baby gaviscon to go into normal formula, we’re one week in & so far he is settling better at night & drinking his milk better too xx

can’t use thickener as she’s already on anti reflux milk and infacol doesn’t work and makes her sick

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
