So my 7 month old loves other people and has a great relationship with her dad and is very happy to be with anyone during the day. But at bed time she screams if anyone other than me tries to feed her or put her to bed. I don't know how to help her get better at letting others put her to bed. I know it's not a massive issue, but I'm just finding it quite restrictive. I also think it would be nice for my husband to do it as he works all day and only gets to see her in the evening.
Is anyone else having similar problems?

We did but were stubborn and now he goes to bed easier for dad I have to leave the room it's funny he'll happily sleep on me for naps but won't go in the cot if I'm there just wants cuddles. No advice other than if Dad really wants to do it try keeping well or the way it might be tricky for him a few nights and hard for you to listen too but hopefully it will get easier

Could you maybe get your husband to be incorporated into the bedtime routine so she gets used to him being there and then hopefully will eventually allow him to feed and put her to bed.
For example
He bathes her, you dress her, he read her a story, you feed her and then he sings her a song and then you put her down? You could do that for a few days and then try switching what you both do?

Thank you both ❤️

Weve had some hit and miss with having dad put our LO down. He's managed to put her down once because she had no choice and I was out and she went down fine.
But whenever we've tried at home she wants none of it. We give her a bottle at bed so my partner can do it but as soon as she gets sleepy all she wants is me. She goes through phases of having meltdowns of she's too tired and absolutely doesn't want dad.
But we keep on involving him in bedtime and we've got another night coming up when I'm out, just have to hope it's the same. When she knows im not there she'll go down for him.
Sorry no advice! Just know your not alone! It's super tiring as well because after a long day of baby, it would be nice to sit down and not have to also do the whole bedtime routine!

@Joanna thank you for sharing! It's good to know I'm not the only one. Hope you're next night away goes well and baby goes down 🤞
