Are wipe warmers worth it?

I didn't use this with my first, and nappy changes were always really stressful with lots of crying and screaming, which could have been because of the wipes feeling cold against his skin. I'm considering wipe warmers this time but have seen mixed reviews with lots of people saying they don't work very well (because they dry out the wipes for example). If you've used it before, would you recommend it? And is there a specific wipe warmer you'd recommend? The ones I've seen on Amazon don't have great reviews.
