I was told the babies head was engaged but they didn’t tell me how much by 😞
I have very similar symptoms, lotsss of pelvic pressure and struggling to walk now at 37+1!
Hoping we have fast labours soon!x

How do they measure how engaged you are?? I'm only 35+1 so will my midwife tell me at my next appointment maybe? 🤔 She didn't say anything at my last one!

I'm also 36+1 and I am SO bloody uncomfortable. No idea how engaged, but a lot of pressure, way more #2's and a lot of braxton hicks and cramps. It's exhausting!

I asked my midwife and she was able to tell me after examining the baby with her hand

I was just told baby head is engaged and in good position so i should start going on curb walks and light exercise to get things going

amazing! How far along are you?

I’ve noticed I’ve been going a lot more too. Sometimes 5 times in a day. Is that the same experience you’re having? I’m 36+6 atm.

Yes... the other day I went three times in one day (which is mental considering I'm also on iron tablets which makes you constipated!)
Twice today.
I guess there are hormonal changes going on right now and everything is "loosening up" for the birth. Bit freaky... but all OK.
Im not ready yet though and would like a few more weeks 🙈

Mine was 2/5ths engaged at my 34 week appointment. 36 weeks today. Lots of pressure but no other signs or symptoms, they can boob in or out of engagement especially if 2nd pregnancy

I was told yesterday at a midwife appointment that my baby’s head is facing downwards. I wasn’t told how much by but I’m still hoping my daughter will stay in there until her due date or thereabouts. There’s so much left to do! My pelvis does feel uncomfortable at times.
