Baby girl name… unsure🤔

I’ve loved the name Marley for years and always thought I’d have it for a son. Currently expecting a baby girl and we can’t decide on a name. Marley can be a girls name too. What do you think of it? One of the names we are considering for her is Marilyn and it has been suggested to shorten that to Marley. Can I get some opinions 🤣

Perhaps spell it marlee/marlie as these are feminine

Sans My husband wanted Marley for boy but we having a girl he wanted to keep it but it felt to heartbreaking being that I wanted a boy .

I actually associate it more with a girl! x

When I hear the name Marley I associate it with a girls name more than a boys. I know of a few Marleys, all girls. It’s lovely xx

someone i know had a little girl and named her Marley. honestly i had only ever heard of it twice, a boy i knew as a teenager and the dog in the film Marley and Me 😅 but seeing her put up posts of her little girl Marley, i love it for a girl..

yeah maybe I would feel differently if I had actually watched that movie 🤣 I’m purposely avoiding it lol

I love the name Marley for a boy always have but my partner didn't and we compromised and named one of our sons Myles

I know a couple of people have named their daughters Marliya as an alternative to Marley. But I actually think Marley can be used for a girl too. It's a lovely name. As others have suggested you could always change the spelling if you wanted it a little bit more femine

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
