I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

This is my third pregnancy and I have had C-section for all my babies. My incision doesn’t really hurt. But all my kids are almost 3 year apart.
I didn’t have to do any emergency csections tho all mine were planned

I’ve had two emergency C-sections one in an actual emergency the other one we were able to plan a day. So far my incision site has acted exactly like it did for the first C-section and it didn’t bother me during my pregnancy.
I don’t know if you would have to have another C-section or not like I did, but there are a lot of moms that can do a VBAC. a friend of mine had one C-section and two vaginal births and she’s pregnant with her fourth kid now.

I had an emergency c-section with my first. I’ll have a scheduled c-section with this one and timing will be dependent on my placenta placement.

I waited 20m to conceive after my caesarean. Pregnant first cycle, no issues whatsoever with my pregnancy, no risks to me or baby, no aches or pains.
I chose an elective for my second and it was super calm and easy. No uterine thinning, minimal to no scar tissue. I healed well between babies and let my body do its magic. My scar has been used twice now and it’s vanished again to nothing.

Mine was a lot like my first pregnancy. I had an elective C-section with my second and it was a much easier recovery than my first

My first and second were 10-11 years apart so take this with a grain of salt. From what I read, if you want a VBAC you should wait 18+ months to get pregnant again.
My first was an emergency operation due to her position and size and length of labor (30 + hours)
I had my second and third via VBAC with no problem whatsoever (even with relatively long labors - 20 hours and 16 hours). With my third, I actually got pregnant like 4-5 months after I had undergone multiple back to back abdominal surgeries (appendix removed, 31 lymph nodes and some of my colon due to cancer). I did have some pain as the baby grew but nothing catastrophic and nothing wrong with my external scarring
Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for the best type of underwear to get to wear during c section recovery?

So I’m 34 weeks and baby has been measuring large (only his tummy) since 2 growth scans ago which is bringing him to the 98th percentile and currently guessed at 5.6lbs!
My first baby was born at 7.11lbs so they have said he is big for my gestation in comparison
I am in so much pain and have been in preterm labour since 29 weeks so the contractions have been awful but never any progression! And his movements have slowed right down despite positive CTG and scans showing he is okay
Has anyone had this with baby? Gestational test was negative and I have a blood sugar test on Saturday
I have a midwife appointment and I’m wondering about requesting induction at 37 weeks ( I had my last at 38 weeks and almost ended up in a C section as my pelvis was to narrow and be kept getting stuck) so I’m getting very anxious about trying to deliver an even bigger baby!!
Thankyou in advance

I have had my obstetrician appointment at 36+5 days to request my elective c section.
The consultant requested the surgery for the 1st October making me 38+5 days on the day of surgery. But she did caution that it may be between the 1st-8th depending on theatre availability.
How many people got honoured the date they requested, and how many requested a specific date and was given a different date?

I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep having pains in my back/side and it’s exactly like a cramp and it feels as if that part of my back seizes up and tightens and I can’t get rid of the pain, has anyone else had this and if so do you know how to get rid of it 😫 it’s been like this for over a week now, I can’t do anything without it getting triggered, I feel like it may be from the position baby girl is in but I feel so helpless I’m in pain literally everyday 🥲

The midwife told me to remove it on day 5. I had my c section Monday morning so does that mean today or tomorrow?
