Hi! My baby is 6 months and Ive never had a strict routine down for her other than bathtime at 9 and bed by 10. She would sleep till 8am pretty much every day. Right around Christmas she started waking up religiously at 3 am. No matter what I did. Now it changes, she will wake up around 3-5am play for a bit, have some milk then sleeps again till around 8-9 am. Do you guys have set routines? We just started incorporating solids for breakfast and dinner (not that she actually eats it? Just plays around with the food). Should I incorporate a routine during the day for naps and such? If so how did you establish one? I need help š FTM here

I just started doing semi-scheduled naps. I just use wake windows. I've been tracking them and he is usually about 2 hrs 15 minutes. I move bed time up based on the wake windows as well. I can't keep to a strict schedule and really neither can he. Some days he naps for 2.5 hrs some days it's 20 minutes.

I find that if my son goes to bed around 8 he sleeps a lot better than he would if he went to bed super late or super early. Maybe she needs more of a routine. Every baby is so different though and it could just be a sleep regression sheās going through. Both of my babies slept through the night up until 4months old and then just woke up almost every hour to two hours. Itās so hard when they wake up from sleep so early! Donāt be too hard on yourself, Iām sure you are doing a great job and she will soon get back to sleeping through the nightā¤ļø

Thank you! Ive been starting to track her naps to see if thereās a pattern and try to create more of a structure.

Is she teething? That can throw off schedules

she already got her two bottom teeth at 3 months. So could it be the top? How do I know?
