Overnight Bottles/Feeding

Alright mums, I’m literally at a loss and so confused at what to do. My baby is and always has been a terrible sleeper - that’s a story for another day! However overnight, we still give him a bottle as it’s the easiest way to settle him back to sleep. Sometimes I give milk, others I give water - it’s just the bottle that’s the soothing part I think. Does anyone else’s little ones still have/want a bottle over night? Or is this something I should work on cutting out!

Our girl still gets a bottle (milk or formula) overnight at around 10:30pm and then she generally sleeps through to 7:30am-ish. We have planned for a while to slowly cut it out by decreasing the amount but OUT OF NOWHERE at the beginning of this month, she didn’t wake for a bottle, and has continued this way all this month.. she wakes every third or fourth night though and I give her a bottle, but I couldn’t believe she just did it all on her own. Don’t stress if I were you, he’ll stop when he’s ready.
