Naps

Do you even wake your baby up from a nap if they’ve been down for too long or if its at a time of the day where it would mess up their night sleep for example? My baby is 14 weeks

I do when it's the last one of the day as I want her awake two full hours before she goes to sleep X

Same as above. My baby goes to bed between 6 and 7pm, so I will gently wake them up if they are still asleep after 5:15pm

Can I ask what time does she wake up in the morning?

Between 6 and 7:30

I didn’t at 14 weeks as she didn’t have a set routine/bedtime but did as my daughter got older, around 6 months. I would consider it with my second though to maybe encourage routine earlier, as routine works well in our house 🤣

Not at that age I didn’t! If she had a late nap I’d just shift her bedtime a bit

Yes, we don’t let naps go over 2 hours

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
