Transition out of love to dream swaddle - HELP

My girl is 5 months and has been sleeping in the love to dream swaddles since she was born, she loves being able to suck her hand through the fabric and rub her eyes with the fabric. I am trying to transition her out of it with their transition swaddle but she just hates it. She has one arm out at the moment and she just will not sleep. She used to self settle to sleep but now I am having to rock her to sleep.

Anyone used these swaddles and how long did it take your LO to get used to having their arms out?

I’m afraid my girl transitioned really well with one arm out to begin with so we moved to both quite quickly. I would maybe suggest just going cold turkey in your situation as if she does then adjust to one arm out, you’re likely to go through it all again when you take the other arm out? Maybe best just to rip the bandaid off.
Could you maybe introduce a lovey if she likes to have some fabric to soothe her and then remove it from the sleep space once she’s asleep?
Sorry if that’s not much help

It took us around two weeks to transition out, I think mainly because he still had his startle reflex.
But my boy has been a terrible sleeper since he was 4 months, so could’ve been a number of reasons 🤪

I just took it off about a week ago and he slept no different so I've kept it off. I didn't do no transitioning. Though I did tuck him in with his blanket so his startle reflex didn't wake him up

HANDS DOWN ZIPADEE ZIP. My girl was a fantastic sleeper but didn’t transition well. So, zipadee zip worked instantly. It’s the only hands in transition swaddle on the market. My baby still sleeps in it (20m old in the largest size) for bedtime but naps at daycare with a blanket https://www.sleepingbaby.com/products/eversoft-bamboo-zipadee-zip-swaddle-transition-all-colors1?nbt=nb%3Aadwords%3Ax%3A21998634367%3A%3A&nb_adtype=&nb_kwd=&nb_ti=&nb_mi=&nb_pc=&nb_pi=&nb_ppi=&nb_placement=&nb_li_ms=&nb_lp_ms=&nb_fii=&nb_ap=&nb_mt=&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADjX6eZkUjcCBgYi3EbVf4hpTWHSz

I’m the same, just went straight into a sleep bag but when she’s down I put her arms up

Our 4 month old was in the love to dream up until about a week ago. She learned to roll from her back to tummy and almost instantly started doing it at night. So we knew we couldn’t keep swaddling. We transitioned her to a sleeping bag instead and so far she does pretty well. Still has a few “false starts”, but she will sleep for 4-5 hours once she’s down. Just another option.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵
