Sudden early riser

I’ve been very lucky that up until a week ago my baby girl (1 on 31st Jan) was a late waker. We would usually have her get up between 8 and 9. Sometimes later. She never woke up before that and was always back to sleep whether she went to bed at 6pm or 10pm. She never sleeps through to clarify, she still wakes frequently 🫠

About 5 days ago she woke up at 7:30am and wouldn’t go back to sleep, then it was 6:30 yesterday and 6:45 today. Is that it now? Will she always be an early riser from now on.

Anyone else had this?

noooo not 5:30! Yeah all of a sudden one day she was wide awake at 6:30am. Clapping and babbling away 🙄😂

Yes my almost 13month has for the last few days been waking around 6.30 Before she would be wake around 8 even if she woke up at 5.30/6 she would breastfeed and fall back asleep. But now she stays awake. I think it’s routine changing as maybe transitioning to 1 nap

I wouldn't even class 06.30 as an early rise 😂 Our day mostly starts at 5! 😁

hahaha I think I’ve had it lucky for too long. She’s never once woken up that early….but there’s always a first time….!

Same!!🥲 I think nursery has brought his routine earlier. He used to sleep in til 8-9 as well, but now he’ll start to stir before 7 which I realise is still good but I miss being able to sleep in lol. I notice it’s usually because he’s had a poo though so sometimes if I change him and put him right back he’ll go back to sleep and I can get away with a bit longer😅x

mine hadn’t been to nursery yet and had her first day on Tuesday. So it coincided with it strangely and is helpful as now I have to be up 7 or so to get her ready!

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
