Why just why lol 😆

For a multitude of reasons.

Brand might have gotten a facelift: a way to stay relevant to whatever is trend. Current that’s bold lettering, bright colors but also a minimalist design.

Think about it, shelves are crowded at the store. Stores might rebrand a specific product to have it stand out from the rest. Example: Everyone is selling the same chocolate ice cream and you need your to physically stand out because at the store samples aren’t generally given. So you select with your eyes.

The products target audience might have shifted. So a new look would only make sense.

If there’s a new regulation that needs to be strictly followed. Generally they will go ahead and tweak the packaging too.

Cost cutting reasons (money saving for them not you)

Produce itself has changed and the new design would reflect this to their customers (new recipe, size difference, added benefits to the recipe).

These are a few reasons: but Im glad your son was happy that his safe food was still good.

I get all that but it becomes a massive issue when your child refuses to eat their safe foods due to packaging changes especially when they have a every limited safe food. It's very hard to keep explaining that it's still the same inside 😕 and they no longer trust what their used to.

This is a repost after finding out a safe food of my sons has been discontinued the safe food is/was mcain fries 🍟 to go. I've tried others and he really wants more someone help please. 1 stressed mummy.

Update i think we've found an alternative for now. I went to aldi of a whim after some research and they do a box of 2 French fries that come with 2 dips and mcdonalds style cartons/cardboard sleave. And a box of 12 chicken nuggets. I have just fried these in the chip fryer and he's just told me the nuggets are like a local chippy as they only do nuggets like mcdonalds lol 😆 the chip 🍟 have gone down a treat 🙂🙂. He has even done the logo of mcdonalds.
