D-MER🥲

I need someone to tell me it isn't just me haha. I get so sad to the point of tears everytime baby feeds and we are 2.5 months in. I started birth control a few weeks ago and I feel like it has heightened hard core since then. It doesn't happen when I pump but baby refuses bottles. Does it subside at some point or is this just my life until i decide to stop BF.😅

You’re definitely not alone! I exclusively pump and every time I get so anxious, sometimes to the point of tears, for the first few minutes and then I’m fine. We’re a little over two months in as well and I was hoping it would just go away eventually.

This is the second time I’ve gone through it, and it’s just awful 😅 Like why is it a thing 😂😂 It’s rough bc it happens when you let down, and mine starts automatically and I just get this instant overwhelming feeling of anxiety, like a wave. It’ll be at the very beginning and maybe 10 mins in when I have a second one

I asked a lactation consultant about this bc I get so anxious during my let down and she said this is super common and it’s from your body releasing a bunch of oxytocin at once

2.5 months in here too, exclusively BF and same 😭it hits me like 10 seconds before my milk lets down and passes shortly after. Mine is more dread/emptiness than anxiety
