Trapped wind.

Any tips to releave it? We've tried bicycle kicks, tummy massage and bath. Back story Posteria tongue tie cut at 18 weeks. Bottle feed expressed milk in the day time from 10 weeks and breast fed with sheilds at night and occasionally in the day when possible. Since tongue tie cut last week, we have been able to progress to more breast feeding and the last few days we dropped the shields feedings mostly going well. She has still had 1 bottle a day but this has been formula mostly (she has had formula a few times a week for a long time) as I haven't been able to pump much with her feeding. Tonight the wind is bad. I can't lay her down in her bed when I do her legs stick up and as they go down she gets so upset and screams out and is totally fine when she is lifted back up and is still asleep.

We use frida-windi’s and swear by them x

Best thing we found was a specific hold that my mum friend sent me the other day - releases wind from both ends within seconds (attached link but if you can’t see it - hold baby against your chest facing outwards, hold their back straight and head central to facing out, other hand cupping their bum with their legs dangling and go on your tiptoes and back down again in short intervals. It’s so weird but it worked for us!) https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDyELo_op-H/?igsh=MWdvMjFxZmUyb282dg==

I will give that a go today

@Mel I second the windi!!
