All I wanted to do was get dressed and you say to me that you don’t have time and to get dressed when LO sleeps; I respond by saying it takes me 2 mins to get ready!!! LO has been awake since 8am and normally sleeps between 10:30-11:30. LO’s 10 months old and wake windows are normal 2-3hours not 4? Is this norm?

Sorry not sure what you're asking?
If you're asking what wake windows are normal for a 10mo I'd say 3-4 hours probably.

I’m asking whether other people’s partner’s let you do what you need to do and what the wake windows normally are.

Aaah okay. Well we do a bit of a mixture. Whilst I'm off work I tend to sort the boys (2yo and 9mo) out myself but I get up showered and dressed before getting them up most of the time. At the weekend when we're both off we take turns, one of us gets ready whilst the other gets them dressed then swap over and do breakfast. So yes my partner lets me get dressed etc but during the week I do it before they wake up.

my LO’s still awake 😳 not helped by teething too 😫

Yeah, it's not fair that they don't help you get ready in the mornings. Partners should be facilitating us being able to take care of ourselves. I have a 3 year old too and still have to ask my husband to get him dressed so I can get myself dressed. Otherwise I'm organising 3 people in the morning and him just one and that's not fair.

Wake windows for us are anything from 2-4 hours. I follow her cues.

Yeah you definitely should be helping each other out with things like this, it wouldn't have killed him to be with your LO for 5 minutes while you got yourself ready. You're a partnership, maybe he needs to remember that!

My girl's wake windows generally go 2/3/4 ish through the day, give or take 😅

My parter leaves for work really early 6/6.30am most of the time. On weekdays I have a shower at night then get up before he leaves for work to get dressed etc. I also leave all my LO’s things out for the following morning the night before. Having everything prepared makes mornings so much easier! On the weekends my partner will get our LO ready while I get sorted.

My LO’s wake windows are between 3-4 hours but since hitting 10 months she’s really been fighting sleep so some days we’ve had wake windows of 4 and a half hours and she’s so cranky x

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
