Possibly Moving to Tulsa, OK

My husband and I are planning the move to Tulsa, OK by the end of this year. We are currently in WA state and I understand your concerns. My husband has family in OK (we will be 3 hrs from them) but all of my family are in WA so it’s going to be a huge change. Places like CA and WA are so different than OK I’m assuming but there seems to be quite a bit to do. I don’t think you’ll have problems finding your village, I hear people there are incredibly friendly. I’ve fought my husband a lot on the issue because I love WA and it’s always been us living near my family so now it’s his turn. OK is insanely cheap and that’s a big pro but I’m a little concerned about tornadoes. I’ve never lived anywhere besides WA so I’m taking a leap of faith. I’m going to miss the mountains and ocean but I just might end up loving OK. I told my husband I’d give it a year, two at the most and if I hate it, we’re moving back. 😅 Best wishes to you!!
