Early scan

Has anyone been for an early scan at 7 weeks and not heard a heartbeat because it's too early? got one booked tomorrow and am terrified they won't hear a heartbeat as it's too early and am super anxious because of previous miscarriage.

Hello lovely, 7 weeks will be far along enough to see a heart beat and your little bean💕
I’m due my scan next Thursday at 7+5 and I’m super anxious too. We’re all in the same boat I hope it all goes really smooth tomorrow and you see a strong heart beating for you✨💕

I feel like it could be too early but what I did was before they did anything I explained a was super anxious due to previous MC and ask them to explain first what to expect, before doing the scan. Then you know exactly what is meant to be seen. I didn’t hear mine at 9 weeks but I could just about see a heartbeat - so it might be that 7 weeks is too early! Good luck and I’m sure everything will be absolutely fine. Just because you’ve had one before it doesn’t heighten the chances of a second- that’s what I’ve been told by many doctors :) I know that uncontrollable anxious tho - no matter what people say it’s still there because of what’s happened before and that’s so normal . ♥️

I had a scan at 6+5 and they saw a heartbeat, but I know we were quite lucky as some don't see them til later. I'd try not to be too worried if they don't see it at that stage

You should be able to I had one at 5+5 (history of ectopics) and was very surprised to be able to hear it then!

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
