Any twin mums have an early scan at 6weeks but baby B measured small and had no heartbeat? Did baby go on to be viable?

I had an early scan at around 7 weeks and baby B measured smaller with a much slower heart rate. At the time I was prepared by my OB to expect to be losing this baby and go back in two weeks for rescan.

Thankfully all was ok and she was much smaller than her twin sister throughout the entire pregnancy and 50% size difference at birth x

Oh wow thank you for sharing I’m hopeful we get our two miracle babies after so long of trying. Baby A was 3.6mm and baby B 2.1mm so quite a difference but it’s so early im hoping they catch up to each other

It’s an emotional rollercoaster. Fingers and toes crossed for two flutters on your next scan and that baby B catches up ❤️x

Definitely guard your heart but stay positive and hopeful 🫶🏻 was your scan abdominal or transvaginal?

it was internal, she couldn’t see anything abdominally. It’s going to be a long two weeks that’s for sure x

I'm glad! Those will be most accurate until you're about 10 weeks. I'm sorry mama that's so heavy to carry in your heart for 2 whole weeks. Try to keep yourself busy and keep your mind present and positive 🫶🏻

Yes, I am going through very similar! Last week at 6w saw one heartbeat, second sac had only yolk sac. Had a scan this morning at 7w and saw both heartbeats, they are both viable but twin B is measuring a week behind. They were 9.9mm and 3.5mm, huge difference from last week! Try to keep busy and stay positive 🤞🥰 good luck!

My 6 week scan had no heart beats, 19 days later both were good now at 22 weeks

Thank you all so much, it’s really reassuring to hear that both babies made it, I’m so hopeful to have both babies

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!
