My toddler has starting acting up
(Hitting me & her sister, shaking the bouncer, climbing on things she knows she shouldn’t) so I’ve had to tell her off a few times & omg the mum guilt now the girls are in bed is intense! I don’t want my toddler thinking her little sister replaced her! (We have got a few things booked just the two of us but still the mum guilt)!

Omg my toddler is same he pulls my hair and everything but when I tell him off he cries and I feel so bad and end up cuddling him but I keep getting told to stop that but I hate seeing him so up set even when he tries to hit his brother I tell him no and he has a melt down

What age is your toddler? Mine is 3 in September & I swear the last month she’s been CRAZY. I dunno what’s in the air!? Terrible twos? 😅 she’s started hitting her sister too! But then my youngest will hit her back, I guess that’s the fun in having 2 so close. I get the mum guilt though, but I promise she won’t remember it & you’re perfectly okay to tell her off when she’s hitting and/or misbehaving. She won’t feel like she’s being replaced either, I promise. They are crazy and irreplaceable and they know it 😆 mum guilt is 💩 try be kind to yourself & remind yourself tomorrow is a new day 🙂🩷

he’s 15 month old hahaha I can feel u he tries hit his brother who is 2 months old but dosnt like it when he gets told no and just horrible when u have mum guilt because there ur babies so u don’t wanna like tell them off but you need to at same time so they learn and I try spend as much time with my toddler when my 2 month old is sleeping or in swing so he dosnt feel pushed away or I try get him involved like he gives his brother his dummy and passes me his bottles sometimes when he’s in a good mood hahahaa most time he runs away with them xxx
My oldest is 20m and my youngest is 2m
Think the terrible twos have come early
It doesn’t help that my youngest was soo clingy yday I could barley put her down even when she was sleeping.
I finally got her to let me put her down, she was awake but just chilling on the sofa and my oldest walks over looks me dead in the face & sits on her!

I’ve been learning that my emotions have a lot to do with it. I don’t really tell my kid off. I just say in a gentle stern voice we don’t do that once or twice and explain why. We don’t hit sister we gentle, hugs, besitos only ok. He cries but I redirect him into a safe fun activity. He’s 17 months so he quickly gets over and is happy again. I don’t get upset and act on emotion. I heard you just keep redirecting and eventually it sticks. He’s really small so not sure if this will work but I want to teach from a place of love and patience and not anger.

My eldest doesn't hit my baby, but he hits himself and me. That's not okay. Usually being stern and positive parents just doesn't work for me. I put him in time out till he calms down. Only thing that got him to stop. I won't have him hurting the baby.
