Mamas, what are some tips/suggestions on how to get your little one to sleep in their own room? My daughter is a year and a half old & she has absolutely no problem sleeping in her bed when it’s nap time but the moment it’s bed time she has a full blown meltdown.
We are at a loss on how to get her to sleep in her own bed. We’ve rearranged her room & gotten her a new bed, we also try to lay in there with her at night to try to get her to sleep but nothing works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In the same boat with my son 🥲

I went through this and still go through this sometimes and my daughter is almost 3 😅 I would suggest getting into an established bedtime routine: (shower, brushing teeth, read a book)and stick to it even through the meltdowns. I find that giving them lots of heads up timing wise helps a lot.
It is totally up to you but I find that personally, lying down together in their bed only made the process longer and harder for both of us. She expects that I stay there and sleep together and cries her heart out in the middle of the night if I’m not there and I don’t get any sleep. 😅
Hang in there!

Maybe sleep regression

If it is a regression, unfortunately you just have to ride it out. Survive and be consistent with your plan
