Cot Naps

Hi all,

Any tips to extend my LB cot naps? Currently they only last less than half hour and but I’m trying to remain consistent with that’s his sleep space?

Thank you

White noise, room dark as possible and mini nap routine. Also if your baby isn't upset when he wakes up leave him to see if he can go back to sleep by himself. It takes a little while but naps should extend with time.

Thank you so much, I think I could be going wrong by going in as soon as he wakes up and cries a little so I’ll try leaving him for 5 mins to see!

6 month sleep regression?

Hey mums!!

My daughter is 6m old and her sleep has completely been thrown off for the last week! Before now she would sleep from 6:30pm - 5am have a bottle and then go to sleep until about 7:30am (sometimes sleeping all night) and suddenly now, she’s up every 2/3 hours!

We were “warned” about the 4 month sleep regression but never experienced that as my daughter has always been a great sleeper (something that we don’t take for granted) but haven’t heard of them going through a 6 month sleep regression - I am wondering if anyone else’s LO has gone through the same thing?

I’m keeping to routine, so nothing has changed and she’s very happy in herself - I guess it’s one of these things 🩷

Antibiotics and breast milk.

Has anyone taken antibiotics and noticed that it has affected their breast milk? I have been on antibiotics for a week (4 a day) and every time my baby has breast milk she is immediately sick afterwards and cranky. (This was never an issue before being on antibiotics), so I have been pumping and pouring away my milk (which is soul destroying) until I finish the tablets. She has been having formula instead and isn’t being sick with that at all and seems much more settled.

Travel pram

Has anyone used any of these prams? I want to make sure the seat sits upright fully and isn’t really flimsy that my son could fall out but I know these are cheaper prams as I can’t afford a lot so keep looking on marketplace etc

I feel like a terrible mother

I am 5 weeks pregnant with my second and my anger is through the roof. I feel like I am snapping and screaming at my 22 month too much. My hormones are killing me and I feel like I am a horrible mother. I can’t control it and I feel terrible. Has anyone else gone through this??
