Postpartum PGP

Anyone still have pelvic girdle pain postpartum? I’m nearly 11 weeks pp and PGP is still sore!
Feels like I’ve pulled muscles in my stomach and bikini line area. Going from laying down/sitting up, walking upstairs and rolling over in bed still hurts.
Anything I can do? Is it common?
I don’t drive, I walk about 2 hours a day with my toddler and newborn strapped to me so didn’t know if this was part of it?
Any advice? X

I had physio for pgp whilst pregnant, when she discharged me she said after pregnancy give it 6-8 weeks and if it hadn’t gone to referral myself back to physio. So I would suggest calling your gp and asking them for a referral. But yes having your newborn strapped to you for 2 hours a day will be putting a lot of pressure on your pelvis. I’d avoid doing it until the pain has gone and afterwards wearing a band for support x

I thought as much just not really an option for me to stop baby wearing/walking though so it’s tricky 🤦🏻‍♀️ did she give you any particular exercises you could share? X

I still have it at 8 months pp. Honestly it feels like it's getting worse. I've seen a physio and will have a follow up soon. I didn't even know it was a thing to have it post partum

my physio suggested based off where I had the pain, I also had an exercise ball so two of them were using that (pelvic tilts and squats against the wall) then there was pelvic tilts against the wall and two others but I can’t remember them sorry!
I found yoga really helped and she recommended aquanatal I just never got round to trying it. I would suggest going for an appointment, only as when I googled a lot of them to help the were laying exercises and they actually hurt me more than helped x

I had the same with my second, it was awful. I went to the drs and had some bloods but was all ok. I think it went around 6months post partum but I also went back to the gym around this time so I think working on my strength definitely helped.

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Has anyone ever had pain in the bone at the bottom of the lady area?

How I can only describe it is I feel like I have a fracture or the bone is broken right at the bottom of my vagina bone obviously don’t think it’s to the extent but that’s how it feels. I had it in my last pregnancy and the pain went few months postpartum now it’s back again with this pregnancy. C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏
