Tips to moving baby to her bedroom

Pick up put down or vanishing chair might work for you. One is responsive each time they get upset but then you still leave each time, one is you’re always there but gradually move further away, but both present/responsive.

Another option is to encourage other sleep associations that are easier to withdraw vs feeding eg pat/sush whilst you feed her and then you can pat/sush her in her crib to help her settle .

My baby was fed to sleep and I would sleep with a muslin in my top and then feed him with the muslin on his cheek and stroke his face with it and gradually he started to use it to soothe himself to sleep and rub his own face. Initially I would then go in and take it off him when he was asleep but as they are small squares not full muslins I’m now happy to leave them in with him.

My first baby was like this and we got rid of the cot and switched to a floor bed. I could feed her to sleep and then roll away from her.
