What’s the going rate for the tooth fairy?

I got 25 cents a tooth when I was a kid and I’m planning on doing that with my kids. This tooth fairy can’t afford $10 a tooth like some of my oldest’s classmates 😅

I think we're going to do the golden dollar coins, one per tooth. Special, but won't break us!

I decided on $5 per tooth. With 20 baby teeth total, it comes out to $100 that will go in their piggy bank/actual bank when they get an account!

We randomly decided on $5. We've only lost one tooth from one twin so far, though. I don't remember what I got. Probably two quarters via the 80s and early 90s.

We do anywhere from $3 to $5 and sometimes a small toy too. Nothing fancy but my kiddo sure gets excited no matter what.

$5 comes with glitter and a small note shaped like a tooth telling them to keep up the good brushing! They won’t lose teeth forever or believe in the magic. Which is heart breaking but the sad truth.

My husband was giving $20 for the tooth. After one of my sons lost a tooth a few days later we realized they were having a real live fight club with plans of splitting the profits. So it's now $5 a tooth. I respect their business acumen though. Smh
