Movements

Hey! I’m currently 24 weeks today with a posterior placenta so have felt movements since around 18/19 weeks, I don’t know if I’m over thinking it baby boy is still moving throughout the day but as of Saturday they don’t feel anywhere near as strong? He’s still active but the movement is much lighter is this normal should I be worried? I tend to overthink everything so just looking for some reassurance 🤣x

I think up to 26 weeks it’s really irregular so as much as you notice it, there’s no real pattern yet! However, if you are worried at all ring triage and get seen, always better to be seen than not xx

It could just be where he’s lying but if you are worried or feel they are very different to normal I’d either phone your community midwife for some advice or phone triage. You know your baby best and if he has a regular pattern movement wise it’s better to be safe x

I’m exactly the same and it also changes depending on how active I’ve been in the day. Now I’m back at work after a long weekend im feeling baby way more but maybe im just noticing it more because im sat still. I think unless it’s a drastic change don’t panic too much at this point. I was told once I get to the 3rd trimester to track it more closely x

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
