Hiya, My 2m+2 week old has had this dry congested nose for a week now. During the day he’s well but at night he struggles to breathe through his nose which makes him unsettled and eventually wakes him up. Been awake every hour, exhausted! I’ve tried the calpol saline which helps for the first few moments and then back to square one. Is there anything else that may help him, I’d really appreciate your response or any advise xx

Fridababy snotsucker. First use the saline to soften the snot and then use it. Alternatively hold him in a steamed area (like the bathroom after someone has had a shower) and then use the snotsucker

Baby albus oil few drops in the cot will soon clear it up

And a calpol vapour plug in!
I'm not sure which of the 3 works but we use the trifecta any time she's like that and something works!

I have been using the calpol saline this whole time and didn’t even think about the snot sucker because his nostrils looked dried. Probably that’s where I’m going wrong xx

my mum was talking about applying some oil on a tissue and leaving it near baby. But I didn’t know the name never mind finding it at the pharmacy but thank you for mentioning now I can look for this xx

I’ve got this and was tempted to use it on him until I read they’ve gotta be 3m. So idk if it’s still safe to use on his feet? xx

I used baby albus oil on a muslin for during the day but normal adult albus oil few drops in the cot at night soon cleared him straight up glad I can help x

oo haven’t seen these ik they do the rub. Is there any age restrictions on these? xx

this i will deffo use in the winter by then he will be old enough xx

Albus Oil, yes thank you for your advice. Will look into this today & it must be great for adults too then x.
