I’m 20 weeks & 3 days (2nd baby) started feeling movements about a week ago, last night and all of today I haven’t felt movement - unsure what to do
I had a scan in Thursday and everything was fine (apart from him being stubborn so I had to be booked in for a rescan in 2 weeks just so they could check 1 thing 😂🤦🏼♀️)

Learn more about our guidelines.I think if you’re worried go to the hospital. It’s most probably fine but I would if it was me!
Thank you x
Do you know where your placenta is?
My baby is the same, and we have to go for a rescan also 🤣
Mine is posterior, been feeling him throughout the day for a week up until yesterday evening - I have been at work today though so there is a chance he’s been moving I’ve just been too busy to notice? I just get so anxious this time round 😂 x
Try and have something sugary to eat and then immediately lay in a quiet area if you can and just concentrate. It’s so easy to miss things if you’re busy and working.
But if still unsure get in touch with your local triage x
Hi Courtney, it happened the same with me last Wednesday, I’ve called the triage and they told me to go to the hospital to be checked. All was good, they were lovely and they told me that the placenta might have moved or the baby have found a new hidden place to hide because is too little. Please never take my story as your story and call them, that is what says in our pregnancy maternity book. They take this really serious! A lady told me, next time do not wait two days.
Thank you everyone panic over! Just had a kebab for dinner and I think he was happy with the choice 😂 I can feel him moving xx
Yay! Glad he’s moving again 🥰
It's really common not to have any pattern to the movements until later on, but if you ever have any concerns at all you can always contact your midwife / maternity unit.
