Amniotic Band

I have just had at 16 week private scan and have been told there was the amniotic band floating in the amniotic fluid. I was told it isn’t touching the baby yet but has anyone else had this as it’s got me quite worried? I’ve been referred to NHS through them.

Hi I've just had my baby girl and she had amniotic bands, which we didn't know until she was born. They restricted growth in both hands, but she's doing great and wouldn't have her any other way. I know it's super scary though and I think most of the time thr bands are just there and don't affect anything

I had this at a private scan too but the NHS couldn’t see this when we had our 20 week scan and everything so far is fine! I’m 36 weeks and there’s been no further concerns x

Just following up on this is there any news from your scan I had my 20 wk yesterday and a band was found luckily no where near limbs but it’s scary I have to go back in 3 wks for a scan

I just found out yesterday in our 20 week scan that I have amniotic band and have been referred to a consultant. No limbs have been affected as far as they can see, but doesn’t help the anxiety!

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
