Babies first cold
Any tips for helping my baby sleep? I’ve got the calpol plug in and saline drops. Tried the snot sucker this morning but just a little watery snot came out.
She has a runny nose and a little cough. Last night I ended up sitting up all night with her to keep her upright to sleep. This mornings nap was about 5 minutes as she kept crying

We used a saline nose spray to loosen up anything in there then the nose sucker. If your cot is adjustable, set it slightly lopsided so she’s tilted up a bit

Sounds like you’re doing all the right things. We’ve found that taking a warm shower and have them in the room can help with the steam. We also use snuffle baby on their chest/ back. Some people swear by putting it on their feet but that’s never made a difference for us 😆 Extra cuddles. You’ll be over the worst of it soon
