Midwife

Anyone else find it impossible to refer to the midwife, specifically in the health centre in CQ? In England people seem to be able to refer themselves on line. I think I was referred through my doctors last time but only because I had only just moved here and needed to actually join a doctor’s first. I rang the number I had saved in my phone as Midwife from my first baby, the lady who answered said that was the district nurses number, she gave me the number for the midwives but that number wouldn’t even connect. Eventually found the clinic number and after about 5 attempts managed to leave a message. Hopefully hear back from them soon!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

19 month olds height

Hi, my little boys height is 77.5cm. Doctors seem concerned and are looking at investigating, anyone else been through similar? He’s 20 pounds also. He’s 19 months old

Reduced movements

26 weeks and haven’t really felt little baby all day, she’s usually super active & I have a posterior placenta so I feel her all the time usually. I did feel her ever so briefly earlier right down into my pelvis. I was at maternity triage the other night with tummy cramps but everything was fine and so was baby. What should I do? I don’t want to feel like a nuisance?
