Uncomfortable with baby bump

I'm 14+3 and I have a bump even though I know it can't actually be from the baby yet 🙈 I can't help myself but to feel silly for having, showing and embracing my bump because I feel like it's just me being bloated and having put on a lot of weight from eating so much.

I'd love to be confident and embrace my bump - anyone feeling the same?

You can definitely have a bump at 14+3 lovely! With my first I did (definite round bump) and this time I have as well but as I’m a bit larger - it’s been 11 years since my son 🫣 - now then I was then, it’s a bump but a bit more chubby 😂❤️

thank you that's so true! I didn't consider the point of organs also moving around and making space. Thanks ❤️

I’m feeling exactly the same at 13+3! My first one and I’m looking like I’m 20 weeks already! Glad it’s not just me

it's crazy isn't it? I think my brain is also still battling with the idea that I actually look like that because of a baby and not just because I've eaten too much lol

I'm 13 and wether it's my baby bumping or not, my bump is still due to being pregnant. So yes boo, embrace it, it's growing and it's coz of your lil peanut in there 🥰

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
