8 week old night time sleep

What is your baby’s night sleep pattern like?Purely out of interest as I know all babies are different…

My baby goes down between 9:30pm &10pm, first wake up normally between 2am & 3am and then usually again around 5am. This is the most regular pattern I have noticed although some nights it is random!

This is pretty much the same as me at the moment but after that 5am feed, she wil then wake up again around 7/8 for a small top up and then it goes every bloody 1.5-2 hours for the rest of the morning 🤣 just grateful for those extra couple of hours in the evening!

Pretty similar with our 8 week old too.. although we do get random curve balls some nights! 🙃 But bed time usually 10-11pm (although tonight she has gone down at 9:30pm!), feed at 1ish, 4ish then sleeps in until 7-8am.. we don’t follow any routines at all currently, she just seems to have got herself in this pattern!

Mine goes to sleep at 11pm. He wakes at about 3 or 4 then wakes again at 6.30/7.30. He is then awake from then onwards :) x

Basically identical to my little 8 week old! After her feed at about 5am she usually settles again until about 8/9 meaning I get some time to get little bits done, have a cuppa and some breakfast and feel a bit more human! I don’t mind this routine at all x

Here for this answer 😆😆

Mine goes to sleep about 1030 then wakes up earliest 5 but regularly 630/7

Last bedtime bottle around 9 then usually sleeps until 4/5 ish, has another bottle and then I wake him when I get up for the day x

Mine is similar, although I try to put her down a bit earlier so I have a few hours in the evening. She goes to bed around 8:30/9 and on a good night she will feed at 12:30/1 and then go back to sleep until 4/5 and then will fall asleep again until 7/8.

I’m exactly the same as you! Come 5am, my LO is stirring every 15 mins!

Similar to you but sometimes the second wake is 6:30am instead. Last night she did 9:30pm - 5:15am which was a surprise!

Exactly the same for my 8 week old xx

Jinxed it ladies. He wasn’t great last night. Down at 10pm, up at 1,4 & 6am😢😢😢

Mine’s the same as yours . Even if she’s changed her pattern and been up for a feed around 4am, she’ll still wake up at 5am and be wide awake. Will occasionally fall asleep around half 7 for another hour on my chest but that doesn’t help me get any sleep! 🙈

My little one is 9 weeks tomorrow but for the last couple of weeks she usually goes to bed around 8-9pm, wakes up for a feed between 3-4am and then wakes for the day at 8-9am, she’s always been a good sleeper from the start though, I was so thankful when I got the green light from the HV not to have to wake her every 3-4 hours!

Avatar

Don’t worry thought I’ll get my day when she turns into a nightmare toddler 🙈

My little one 8 weeks old has not gone over 3-3.5 hours of sleep at night ... Once he has done his first stretch it's a challenge after that ... He would wake up every hour ..sometimes it takes 2 hours to put him back to sleep only for him to wake up after 45 mins to one hour.

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
