It's currently usually 75-90°F during the day. We only have a window AC unit in our bedroom on the second floor and the baby is sleeping in our room. At night it cools off enough for us to turn the AC off and baby can sleep in some thin jammies, but during the day, the AC can only get the bedroom down a few degrees. I'll put my daughter down for her naps in just a diaper, no blankets as she's only 10 months, and keep the curtains closed to avoid sunlight heating up the room more, but she still wakes up covered in sweat to the point her hair is completely wet. I'm constantly worrying that one of these times I'll put her down for a nap and when I try to wake her up, she just won't. I may be paranoid, as I'm a first time parent, but I want to know if anyone has any ideas to help keep her cool during the day. TIA

hey im a first time mom as well so i couldn’t tell you if you are just being paranoid but what about attaching a stroller fan to her sleeping area so she is constantly getting some air hitting her ?!

that's actually such a good idea! I've been needing to get a stroller fan so we can continue our daily walks anyway so I can just move it to the crib for naps

yeaa i swear my son runs hot so when i feel like he is starting to sweat i keep the stroller fan on around him and it gives him a nice breeze. let me know how it works for you! i glad i could help 🥰

You can spray water on the windows and lay aluminum foil covering the glass panes. It immediately cools down the room by preventing almost any heat to enter the room
