I’m worried I might be coming on with something but I’m the main caretaker of my beautiful baby girl. She is 8 months so I cannot distance easily from her since she is also having separation anxiety. Any recommendations? What did you do? How did you prevent it? How did you treat it? What measures did you take?

Breastfeeding your baby is the BEST way to protect them as you pass antibodies for whatever you’re fighting via your breastmilk!! Prioritise looking after you. Stay hydrated, eat nutritious whole foods, rest as much as possible

Yup so many times. Gastro, flu and a stuff. My baby never got sick.
I even know loads of mums who their entire families all the kids etc got whooping cough and their babies never did.
Just eat well do your best and keep breastfeeding your bubba

Accept that you’re going to be stuck giving lots of feeds and lots of cuddles 😅

yes and when she does get it, not bad.

I had mono and was so worried she would get it but she never showed any signs or symptoms and I pray being exposed to it plus my antibodies means she never experiences it because it was awful for me!

I ve been sick many times (nothing too heavy), my bf baby have never caught anything (he is 19 months now)

I picked up a flu virus in the hospital when I gave birth. I was sick over a week after. I just kept breast feeding and baby never got sick.

I did not separate from my baby. I continued nursing as normal. She’s never gotten sick from me
