5 week old not sleeping

My boy is 5 weeks old and from 7am -10pm we lucky if he sleeps for half hour. He will sleep for 2 hours but only if he asleep on me or daddy but as soon as we move him into crib he's awake again and I mean he's majorly alert. Is this a sleep regression? I literally cannot do anything past few days. He has silent reflux so all beds are slightly elevated to help with that but I really dont know what else it could be

This is the fourth trimester. They only know your sound and smell and so the majority of babies will only really alwpe on mum or dad or someone warm.

Regressions start normally around the 3 to 4 month mark and happen normally at night so I wouldn't say this is a regression however with the heat I've noticed my son awake a lot more. He sleeps more if he's on me or dad, in the car or pram. We have a moses basket that I can get him down in if he's in a deep sleep and I have to be really slow in transferring him and put my hand on his chest after to keep him asleep. He is affected by the light though as of a night he goes down like a dream. Day it is so hard to get him off me and to sleep in his moses basket. The other thing is to have him in a carrier on you so you can at least do things!

Also how is night sleep in the crib? My son finds the next to me and crib too big but the moses basket okay so will sleep in there but try to put him in anything bigger won't sleep day or night! X

normally he good in the sling but yesterday wouldn't have any of it.

At night he will go down about 10pm and not stir till 2 am thats in the bassinet. But then during the day I can barely get him in the bassinet.
Half way through the night he gets moved to the next to me crib and does a few hours.
Me and my partner getting so exhausted and feel like its pass the parcel with him taking it in turns to get him to settle just worse when im home all day on my own if I put him down within 15 mins he screaming blue murder 😫

I have a baby bouncer that has a vibrate setting on it, my little girl 4 weeks old and we had a weird few days and she would not settle anywhere. I tried this bouncer with the setting and she will nod off for a good hour or so each time which buys me time to get stuff done. It’s supervised sleep but it does give you time to sit and have a cuppa x

Not much help on the sleep front (sorry) but noticed you said you elevated baby’s cot, can I ask how? I’m thinking of doing it for my 5 week old daughter with a floppy larynx x

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
